Set in the rolling Nottinghamshire countryside a few miles north of Nottingham, this family-run 'Pick Your Own' has 1000's of pumpkins and squashes for you to choose from in October. And for the first time this August, we held our Sunflower Experience! 5 acres. 40,000+ sunflowers!
With a family-friendly atmosphere, delicious food by Little Schnauzer Coffee Company and Rocket Dogs, and free parking, this is the perfect outing for all the family!

Information for The Sunflower Experience
The Sunflower Experience is now closed for 2022.
Thank you to everyone that visited.
Starting 13 years ago with 300 pumpkins, this family-run business has grown steadily over the years. Now, we grow 1000's of pumpkins and ornamental squashes!
In the summer months we open our Sunflower Experience, with over 40,000 sunflowers, alongside some other lovely pick-your-own produce!
In 2023, we are very excited to be launching our lavender fields, Nottinghamshire Lavender!

Frequently Asked Questions
What date do you open and when do you close?
We will be open daily from 9.30am - 5pm from Friday 14th October until the 31st October.
Please note that on the 30th and 31st October we will close at 4pm.
We may have to close if there is adverse weather conditions. We regularly update our social media, so please check there in the first instance.
In the event that we sell out of pumpkins before the 31st, then we will close, as we only sell what we grow. But as we have circa 40,000 pumpkins, squashes and gourds, it is unlikely that we will sell out.
Is there an admission fee to pick a pumpkin?
No, it is free to enter our pick your own pumpkins. You pay for what you pick.
How much are your pumpkins?
Our pumpkins range from £3-£9.
Do I need to book?
There is no need to book!
Where are you?
We are on Oaks Lane, Oxton, Southwell, NG25 0RH. Just off the A6097. We are on Google Maps.
We are opposite the entrance to the golf club. Please do not go down the drive to the golf club.
There are signs up pointing you in the direction of the entrance. We have a separate entry and exit gate.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept both cash and card payments.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, dogs and other animals are not allowed.
Is the field suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs?
It is a flat field, with a mixture of grass and bare earth. As it is an agricultural field it is quite uneven in places, and depending on the weather, could be muddy.
Do you have toilets on site?
We have portaloos and hand-washing on site. We also have an accessible portaloo, if you would like more information, please get in touch.
Are you on a public transport route?
Unfortauntely, we are not on a direct public transport route.
